Step into a vibrant world of blooms at our nearby flower farm, where internationally sourced seeds, sustainable practices, and breathtaking colours come together in a serene, picture-perfect setting.
Located close to the homestay, our flower farm is open exclusively to guests, offering a rare opportunity to walk among some of Sri Lanka’s most beautifully cultivated temperate flowers. Every bloom you see is grown with care from seeds sourced from internationally renowned floriculturists.
Based in Hatton and spread across 13,000 square metres, Flori Farms has, for several years, been dedicated to growing and supplying premium cut flowers. Our Gerberas are sourced from the Netherlands via KF Bioplants (India), Phalaenopsis orchids from Floricultura, Netherlands, Chrysanthemums and Gypsophila from Danziger, Israel, Lisianthus from Van Egmond, Netherlands, and Roses from KF Bioplants, India.
From sowing to harvest, all flowers are nurtured, hand-cut, and packed using environmentally sustainable practices. We use only government-approved fertilisers and continually adopt modern techniques to optimise soil nutrition, greenhouse conditions, cold storage, logistics, and natural pest and disease control.
We are especially proud to be completely free of single-use plastics—from planting to packaging—and to support the livelihoods of over 100 people in the local community. With vibrant colours and scenic surroundings, the farm is also a stunning spot for photography.
